How to stop, and when money comes back
The whole policy fits in one line. Stop whenever you like, and the month you have already paid for is yours to finish. Everything below is the detail behind that line.
01 The short version
You can stop the monthly membership whenever you like. The annual one runs its year.
- 01The monthly membershipArangam and The Table can be stopped whenever you like. Send the word stop to +91 98405 91014 on WhatsApp and that is the whole procedure. There is no form, no notice period and no reason needed.
- 02When stopping takes effectStopping takes effect from your next monthly date. Nothing further is taken after you say stop, and the period you have already paid for runs to its end.
- 03The annual membershipArai and The Notes are sold as 12 months and they are not refundable part way through the year. This is written here before you pay rather than explained afterwards. If you want to be able to stop whenever you like, take Arangam or The Table by the month instead, which you can end yourself with 1 message.
- 04What you keepEverything already sent to you is yours. The audio, the framework sheets and the workbooks you have received do not go anywhere when a membership ends.
- 05Why it is written this wayA month or a quarter that has started is not refunded in part or in whole, and that is why there is no notice period and no lock on the monthly membership. You are never paying for a period you have not chosen to start.
02 When money does come back
The 3 cases where a refund is made.
- 01A duplicate chargeIf the same payment is taken twice, the extra one is returned in full. Tell us and it is done within 5 working days.
- 02A session we cancelledIf a paid session, workshop or room is cancelled by us and not moved to a date you can attend, that payment is returned in full.
- 03A payment you never authorisedIf a payment appears that you did not approve, tell us and tell your bank. It is returned in full once the payment provider confirms it.
03 How a refund reaches you
Same route, back the way it came.
- 01The routeA refund goes back to the same card, account or UPI handle the payment came from. It cannot be sent anywhere else.
- 02How longIt is raised within 5 working days of being agreed. Your bank then takes its own time, usually 5 to 7 working days more.
- 03Who to tellMessage +91 98405 91014 or write to the_coach@sureshbalachandar.in with the date and the amount. Nothing else is needed.
04 Sessions with a seat in them
The in person things, where a chair is a real cost.
- 01What this section coversThis section covers the Cashflow Game and the workshops. They run in a room in Chennai with a fixed number of chairs, 6 at a Cashflow table and 15 to 20 at a workshop, so a seat taken is a seat somebody else could not have.
- 02What it does not coverThis section does not cover Puthaga Paravai or Reader's Guide. The Friday session runs on Zoom and there is no limit on how many people can join it, so missing a Friday costs nothing and nothing in this section applies to it. Your membership is governed by the first section of this page.
- 03Moving your dateA booked seat can be moved to another date once, at no cost, as long as you tell me more than 48 hours before.
- 04Not turning upA seat that is booked and not used is not refunded, because the chair was held for you and somebody else was told the table was full.
- 05Coaching and programmesA coaching engagement is governed by the agreement signed for it, which is written separately and takes precedence over this page.
