CEO Coaching

5 Jobs · 25 Dimensions · 5 Pillars · 1 Climb

A multi month engagement that develops the operator behind the business. The work is on you rather than on the company, because the business has grown into the limits of the person running it. You grow as the leader, and the measurement shows it.

01 The door

It begins with the Business Psychology Profile. There is no other way in.

The Profile is the full diagnostic, administered and interpreted with you in a structured 90 minute session, and it costs ₹7,500. The output is a written picture of how you currently operate, the rung you stand on, and the specific work that would move you up. It becomes the reference document for the entire engagement.

It is also the fit test, in both directions. The Profile is built on the same methodology the coaching is built on, so if the diagnostic resonates, the engagement will. If it does not, we will both know, and you still leave with a clearer picture of how you operate than most founders ever get. The investment is not wasted either way.

If you want to feel the instrument before you pay for it, the free sample test is on the Business Psychology Profiling page. 5 minutes, and a sample profile written for your code comes back to you. That is the honest preview, and it costs nothing.

02 Why this exists

At some point the business is no longer the constraint. You are.

Some founders build a business that runs. A smaller number build systems on top of that. And then a point arrives where the limit is not the strategy, not the team, and not the market. It is the operator at the centre. The way you decide, fast or slow, clean or compromised. The way you hold yourself under pressure. The way you read people, manage your own energy, and choose what to act on and what to leave alone.

The business has grown into the limits of the founder, and the next leg needs the founder to grow first. That is what this engagement does. It develops the operator, which means the person who runs the business rather than the business or the strategy. It is the work most founders never get to, because the business never stops asking for their attention, and because the work is personal and uncomfortable. The founders who do it become calmer, faster, and clearer about what to do and what to leave alone.

03 The 5 jobs

5 jobs the role actually demands. The work happens inside them.

  • 01Direction SettingChoosing where the business is going, what it will not do, where capital and effort flow, and which bets to place. Done well, direction is felt across the business as clarity. Done badly, it shows up as drift, reactive decisions, and a team that does not know what matters.
  • 02Mobilising Through PeopleGetting the right people on the team, running a rhythm that produces results, developing talent, and handling non performance without flinching. This is where most founders quietly fail, because the work is interpersonal and the cost of avoidance stays invisible until it is expensive.
  • 03Capital and PerformanceYou learn to understand unit economics, to price with discipline, to allocate capital deliberately, and to build enterprise value over years rather than income for the year. The CEOs who avoid this work leave money on the table for years without noticing.
  • 04Judgement and DecisivenessYou learn to make sound decisions under time pressure. You act on incomplete information without paralysis, you know which decisions are reversible and which are not, and you pace the decision to the stakes. This is the capacity that separates founders who scale from founders who stall.
  • 05Self as InstrumentManaging your own energy, attention, identity, and grounding so the operator stays sharp across years of pressure. A founder who treats himself as an instrument to be maintained outlasts the one who treats himself as a resource to be exhausted.

04 What runs underneath

The instrument measures 25 dimensions across 5 pillars and 20 constructs, so the diagnosis is precise.

Inside each of the 5 jobs sit 5 dimensions, 25 in all. Each one is a measurable place where decisiveness shows up, and each one produces the same 3 things: clarity on where you stand, perspective on where you are going, and a named next action. When you score low on a dimension, the framework underneath tells us exactly which pillar and which construct needs work. That cross cutting is what makes the diagnosis precise rather than generic.

Underneath all 5 jobs runs the Decisiveness Framework: 5 pillars and 20 constructs. Decisiveness, defined properly, is taking the right decision, with little time, under tremendous pressure. Most executive coaching works on habits and feelings. This works on the machinery underneath the decision itself, and that is the difference you are paying for.

The names of the 25 dimensions, the 5 pillars, and the 20 constructs are the instrument itself. I do not publish the instrument. You meet it in the Profile, and then week by week in the room.

05 The climb

There are 2 ways in and 1 way up.

Under pressure, every operator shows up somewhere on this ladder. A founder arrives either Hesitant or Impulsive, 2 opposite failure modes of the same problem: decisions that are not yet right, fast, and made under pressure. The coaching is the climb.

  • 01The Hesitant operatorHe seeks certainty before he acts, so he verifies, he analyses and he waits. The decisions are often sound but late, and the cost of the decisions not made rides along quietly.
  • 02The Impulsive operatorActs fast on instinct. Generates motion, and also reversals, rework, and decisions that need undoing. Activity gets mistaken for progress.
  • 03The Methodical operatorHe reasons well and he decides slowly, so he is strong on quality and weak on tempo. He is reliable in steady conditions and brittle when speed is required. This is the gateway rung and the most common starting point for thoughtful founders.
  • 04The Balanced operatorHe decides at the right pace for the stakes. He verifies what matters and he releases what does not. He holds steady under pressure and he is trusted by the team because the decisions hold up.
  • 05The Masterful operatorHe reaches clarity quickly and that clarity is grounded in depth. He makes high quality decisions under time pressure without losing precision, and he holds his conviction calmly even in ambiguity. This is the rare level that leads through scale, crisis and transition.

The engagement moves you from where you are to the next rung up. It does that concretely rather than abstractly, with work that is named and a diagnostic that is precise. The Profile tells us which entry state you tend toward, and what blocks the first step of the climb.

06 How it works

5 steps, and the measurement runs through all of them.

  • 01The Profile, firstYou complete the full diagnostic before the engagement begins. We open with a session that walks through your profile in depth, locates your rung, and defines the developmental work for the months ahead.
  • 02Weekly sessions, on a fixed dayWe meet on Zoom, on Google Meet, or in my room in Chennai. Each session works one job, or one construct underneath it, in depth, with the diagnostic in the room as the reference point.
  • 03Personal work, between sessionsThe change happens in your life rather than in the sessions. You apply the work to real decisions, real conversations, and real situations. The sessions are the structure. The application is the change.
  • 04Follow up access, when it is liveWhen a real situation lands between sessions and you need to think it through, you reach me. The cadence is weekly. The relationship is continuous.
  • 05Re-diagnosis, at defined intervalsWe run the instrument again so the movement is visible objectively. The work is precise enough that the change shows up in the measurement, not only in how you feel.

07 The end state

The same business ends up with a different operator running it.

  • 01A documented profile of how you operate. Where your strengths are, where your patterns trip you up, and what specific work moves you to the next rung. The kind of self knowledge most founders never get, because the business never gave them the structure to look.
  • 02Decision making that fits the stakes. Faster when speed matters, slower when verification matters, and the judgement to know which is which. Fewer reversals, and fewer decisions you wish you could take back.
  • 03You hold a different relationship with pressure. You can stand your ground in situations that would previously have shaken you, and your people feel that steadiness without you having to demonstrate it.
  • 04A team that experiences you differently, because you stopped being the ceiling on their growth. The shift is felt by everyone around you.
  • 05A clearer sense of who you are becoming. Not the version of you that reacts to whatever the business demands. The version you are deliberately building, with practices that hold long after the engagement ends.

08 Who it is for

For the founder whose business no longer needs saving every week.

  • 01You are the founder, CEO, or senior owner of a real business, with real revenue, a real team, and real complexity. The constraint has shifted from the design of the business to the development of the person.
  • 02You have built systems and hired a team, and the business no longer needs to be rescued weekly. This work needs time and energy, and a founder fighting fires has neither.
  • 03You are willing to look at yourself with the same rigour you apply to your business. The work is personal, and it requires honesty about what works in how you operate and what does not.
  • 04You can commit to a multi month engagement, weekly sessions, and the personal work between them. Development is slow by nature, and there is no compressed version that produces the same result.

Said with respect, and said clearly. If what you need is healing from past wounds, you need a therapist rather than a coach, and I will tell you that directly. If you want your current way of operating validated, this work will surface patterns you have not seen, and it will not land. And if the business itself is breaking, fix the business first. That is the Business Machine or SPRINT, and this engagement waits for you on the other side.

09 Ready to begin

There is no discovery conversation before this one. The Profile is the conversation.

The Profile is ₹7,500. 90 minutes of structured work, a personalised written report, and a grounded conversation about whether the engagement is right for you. If it is, we design the engagement together, and pricing is discussed openly in that conversation. If it is not, you leave with a clearer picture of how you operate than most founders ever get.

This is the deepest layer of what I do, and it stands on the same ground as everything else on this site: 9 years of coaching, 90+ founders, and a practical foundation in applied psychology. I will tell you what I see in your profile, including the parts that may sting, and I will not let the engagement drift into pleasant conversation.
